I’d like to introduce myself for those that don’t know me. My name is Gay Sparks and I’m a home grown Texan. I have been in the hobby for 30 years, starting my kids years ago. Our family has raised several breeds and was successful at national level shows. I don’t show that much anymore but I am very involved with the clubs in Texas. I have been the secretary/treasurer for our local club for over 20 years and Texas Mini Rex for the past 15 years. I served as the assistant show secretary for the ARBA convention in Fort Worth, TX in 2006. I am the current treasurer for Texas Rabbit Breeders Association and have been in that position for 13 years. I serve as superintendent and secretary for the State Fair of Texas and superintendent for the prestigious Fort Worth Stock Show.

My husband, Gary and I have our own construction business and I am the office manager. I also manage several other 501c3 organizations and I feel that my experience will help me with my position on the committee. I feel very blessed to have been asked to serve on this committee and I know our collective experience will contribute to the success of the show. My position comes with great responsibility but I am confident in my commitment to the task. I look forward to being a part of such a distinguished tradition in the ARBA.
