Youth Show Secretary

My name is Christy Posey. I have been showing rabbits for 23 years and I will be the Youth Secretary for the 2026 Convention bid. I have raised many breeds over the years, specializing in Polish, Mini Lops and Mini Rex.

I got started, as many people do, by bringing home a pet bunny from the feed store. It wasn’t a well bred Mini Lop, but I thought my son would enjoy going to rabbit shows. So I found an advertisement in our local sale paper for a rabbit club meeting at Beverly Thompson’s house. I went and all they talked about was showing and planning the next show.

I was hooked and although my son is grown, married, and now lives in Texas; I kept the rabbits and the rest is history. I am still going strong with my rabbits, showing all across the eastern half of the country, and actively show secretary for my local shows.
